1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our registration portal, submitting an application, or remitting the team charter fee for VESTRA: THE LAST MARKET ("the Event"), both registered team delegates jointly and severally agree to be bound by these official Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

The Event is organized and executed by SharkSphere at the campus of Newton School of Technology / Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU), Pune, India.

2. Team Eligibility & Duo Mandate

• Strict Duo Structure: Every participating team must comprise exactly two (2) natural persons: an Executive Delegate and a Strategy Co-Director.
• No Solo Entries: Solo registrations cannot be entertained due to structural simulation game mechanics. A registration submitted with duplicate identities for both seats is void.
• Student & Delegate Status: Participants must present valid college/institution identity cards or government-issued photo identification at the on-ground registration reception.
• Capacity Limit: Total registrations are strictly capped at 100 corporations (200 total delegates). Once 100 paid entries are recorded, the registration ledger automatically locks.

3. Event Format, Rules & Simulation Dynamics

VESTRA is a live, in-person strategy, negotiation, trading, and crisis-survival simulation game set in a fictionalized economic landscape of Earth in 2080:

• Zero Prior Finance Background Required: The simulation tests human psychology, negotiation, risk assessment, and bluffing. No financial modeling or spreadsheet expertise is expected.
• Starting Scrip: Each registered duo receives an initial allocated game capital of V$500,000 in virtual simulation currency. Simulation currency holds zero real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency.
• Floor Decisions: All decisions rendered on the floor by team delegates require mutual consensus. Both delegates must be physically present throughout all simulation rounds.
• Game Master Authority: The rulings, market audits, and news dispatches issued by the SharkSphere Game Master Arbitrators are final, binding, and conclusive.

4. Registration Fees & Payment Terms

• Official Team Charter Fee: Flat fee of ₹250 per team (effective ₹125 per delegate).
• Inclusive Coverage: The fee covers full admittance for both participants, simulation entity dossier, digital cryptographic credentials, on-ground credentials badge, and simulation materials.
• Payment Processing: All payments are securely completed online via the integrated Razorpay payment gateway (supporting UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Wallets).
• Taxes: All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Code of Conduct & Fair Play

Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct and uphold the spirit of collegiate competition:

• Physical altercation, intimidation, harassment, or verbal abuse of rival delegates or organizing crew will result in immediate disqualification without refund.
• Unauthorized tampering with game master transmission consoles, event networking hardware, or digital tally ledgers will lead to immediate expulsion from campus.
• All campus guidelines and security regulations established by Newton School of Technology / ADYPU must be strictly observed.

6. Intellectual Property

All names, trademarks, narrative lore, game rules, graphic marks, digital certificates, and audiovisual media associated with VESTRA: THE LAST MARKET and SharkSphere are the intellectual property of SharkSphere and its licensors. Unauthorized commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

SharkSphere, Newton School of Technology, and their respective faculty, affiliates, and student volunteers shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of personal possessions, or travel delays incurred by delegates attending the event.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any legal dispute or controversy arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
